Garlic: The Best Part of the Lily

Did you know that garlic is the bulb of a lily plant? It is definitely not the beautiful fragrant part, but it is one of the most important vegetables in our diet!


In addition to be being a tasty ingredient to a variety of dishes, garlic provides us with some of the most wonderful health benefits. Here are just a few:


~Aids in lowering blood pressure and cholesterol

~Reduces our risk of dementia and Alzheimer's

~Boosts our immunity to fight off common colds; helps with bronchitis, whooping cough and asthma, too

~Contains Anti-viral, Antibiotic and Antioxidant properties

~Helps prevent cancer

~Remedy for ringworm

~Detoxifies the liver, kidneys, gallbladder, and the urinary tract

~Aids the digestive system; also a good remedy for intestinal worms


There is so much more to garlic than we realize. Be sure to keep your family healthy by including organic, non-GMO garlic in your meals daily!
