Crushing in the Kitchen with Cyndy: Roses

I could not do this month's segment of Crushing in the Kitchen without talking about the most popular flower in February, THE flower of love...the Rose! By any other name, it most certainly would NOT be the same!

Okay, got my drama out...now to business! Where do I start with this magnificent beauty, that comes in every color, even multi-colored, this is another real power-flower and with ancient roots, too. The rose has been known as a symbol of love, romance and passion since Aphrodite, at least. Today, there are over 30,00 species of roses, and with the wide variety of colors, there is surely one that holds meaning to meet your needs. Yet another reason to love the rose!

Wait, you need more reasons to love the rose you say?? Here's a picture of some below... and please, keep scrolling...

These essential oil blends and bath-salts all feature roses as the star.

The rose is another flower that helps the heart, especially by uplifting those in grief and depression, while also receiving stress and tension. The rose also contains polyphenols that have shown to reduce the risks of heart disease.
